Have an easy (but frank) conversation with your Manager about your performance. Don’t overcomplicate it – something easy like “I want to talk with you about how I’m doing” or “I’d love to get your perspective on my performance during our next 1:1.” See how your manager reacts and make sure you get (some) specifics. If you’re up for promotion, this is a great opportunity to see where you stand. If not, it’s also beneficial as you get ready for Performance Reviews.
