If you have the opportunity to give feedback, do it! You’ve probably heard the phrase, “Feedback is a gift…” Well, I believe this is really true! Formal and informal feedback is super important to help EVERYONE do better. Of course, I recommend completing employee/manager feedback surveys, but also think about ways to provide feedback to others (and yourself). Think about the “what” and the “how” and keep it constructive and actionable. Don’t make it weird or complicated – ask your Executive Committee (Daily Insight #24) for help or start with someone you really know/trust. You’ll get better over time.
Pretty soon “Feedback” will be your middle name!
