Raise your hand more. I’ve found this helps in a variety of professional experiences. (1) Raise your hand to volunteer for new/exciting/strength-building work (even if you think you don’t have time). (2) Raise your hand if you have a question (someone else is probably asking themselves the same thing). (3) Raise your hand if you need help (it’s actually a great thing – good managers will appreciate this!) and (4) Raise your hand if you’re asked for feedback (especially in an all-hands or important meeting – this type of visibility can go a long way)!
